Shaun and Donna welcome you to the Bridgend Inn. Our cosy country inn is nestled in the heart of the Monmouthshire village of Govilon, a place steeped in history and surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Govilon is situated at the foot of the majestic Blorenge mountain which dominates the Usk Valley here at the “Gateway” to Wales. The village nestles quietly where the energetic Cwm Shenkin Brook flows off the hills and out onto the floodplain of the glorious River Usk. Its situation provides panoramic views of the well known hills and countryside of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Whether you’re looking for a traditional country inn to enjoy a local ale by the fireside, a cosy spot for morning coffee, or a classic pub lunch or evening meal, our contemporary styled interior is the perfect place to relax and enjoy.

Excellent food. Friendly service a warming atmosphere .a pub we found on our little drive out. The menu has lots of choice !
